Are you looking for the best podiatrist in Toronto?

There are approximately 40 podiatrists, or foot specialists, in Toronto and no one Toronto podiatry office can claim to have the best podiatrist in Toronto. Only satisfied patients can decide who is Toronto's best podiatrist.

You should look for a podiatrist with experience, a podiatrist who is knowledgeable, and stays current by regularly attending cotinuing education seminars.

Sheldon Nadal D.P.M has been practicing in his Toronto podiatry clinic since 1980, and is a contributing author for the textbook "Minimally Invasive Surgery of the Foot and Ankle" edited by orthopedic surgeons Nicolla Maffulli and Mark Easley and published by Springer (Nadal wrote a chapter on minimally invasive bunion surgery). He recently lectured on bunion surgery at the Academy of Foot and Ankle Surgery meeting in New Orleans to a group of podiatrists and orthopedic surgeons from Canada, the United States, Latin America, Europe and Australia. He attends as many as six to eight podiatry and foot surgery seminars each year.

COVID-19 Update

Due to recent changes in instructions from the Ontario government and our regulatory college, to Ontario podiatrists, we are now able to see patients with most foot and ankle related problems at our Toronto podiatry office.

Consequently, you may now book appointments Monday through Thursday by calling us at 416-486-9917.
At the foot clinic of Sheldon Nadal, Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, our priority is the health and safety of our patients, staff and local community.

Consequently, we have put in place the following regimen:

Social distancing

  1. We are reducing the number of patients seen each day in order to avoid crowding the waiting room.
  2. We urge patients to come to their appointments on their own if possible, or with just one caregiver, if needed, at the most.
  3. We have reduced the number of waiting room chairs in order to maintain distancing between patients.
  4. We will bring you directly into a treatment room as soon as possible after you arrive.

Personal protective equipment (PPE)

  1. Please wear a mask in our office. If you do not have one, we will provide you with one to wear during your visit.
  2. We provide hand sanitizer at the front desk for you to use upon entering and leaving our office.
  3. We will check your temperature prior to bringing you into a treatment room. Our staff will also have had their temperature taken each morning when they arrive at our office.
  4. All staff will clean their hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer between patients and will wear masks and disposable gloves.

Further precautions

  1. As always, all surgical instruments and all hand instruments used for treatments are cleaned and sterilized prior to each use.
  2. If you have any symptoms of the flu or COVID-19 such as coughing, sore throat, fever, body aches, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, "stomach flu" symptoms such as diarrhea or abdominal pain, or if you think you may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please call us at 416-486-9917 to reschedule your appointment.

Please stay safe and we look forward to helping you.
Sincerely,
Sheldon Nadal, DPM
